Scripps Supply Chain is ranked Top 25 on Gartner Healthcare. Scripps Mercy Supply Chain employees like how many unique and different products they have to inventory and stock each day. The team started the 2 bin stocking system “Kanban” before all the other sites, and has been very successful in low inventory cost. They also have a great process with bringing in new technology/items into the hospital and have saved over a 1 million dollars with this practice.
As a Supply Tech, you will be responsible for maintaining par supply areas such as: Ordering, stocking, replenishing, and delivering supplies to all areas of the hospital or clinic. Responsible for managing storeroom supplies, performing periodic cycle counting. The Supply Tech will be able to utilize inventory management systems and hand held devices according to policy and procedures. Responsible for checking for outdates, recall of product throughout the hospital and clinic. Must maintain a clean and organized supply area (s).
This position is Full-Time,  Friday-Tuesday, 8 hour DAY shift that includes Evenings and Nights as needed.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:  
•         Minimum 2 years supply experience
•         Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English
•         Excellent computer skills
•         Excellent interpersonal skills
•         High School Graduate
•         Able to utilize computer systems, inventory management tools and systems, and hand held devices
•         The supply tech will need to pass initial 90 day competency and yearly competency as it relates to the position
Preferred Qualifications:
•         Knowledge of medical supplies
