Join our team as Supervisor, Imaging Services at Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista and collaborate with our energetic and respected team to provide excellent care to the Southern San Diego community. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to learn and develop new skills every day with the support of a caring and friendly team.

As Supervisor, Imaging Services you will be responsible for day-to-day coordination of staff to provide clinical care within a single business unit. You will ensure imaging staff reflects established standards per regulatory requirements of care and practice and a culture that promotes patient safety. Under the general direction of the Patient Care Manager, you will share leadership responsibilities for the imaging department, including managing daily staffing plans, and adherence to care processes for patient flow to ensure the best patient experience.

You will collaborate with the Imaging Department at Scripps Mercy Chula Vista and work to support both departments.

This is a Full Time, Salaried position primarily located at Scripps Mercy Chula Vista.

Job Requirements

  • 5 Years’ experience in imaging services
  • One of the certifications below:
    • 1) CRT or AART, Fluoroscopy
    • 2) Board Certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) ) or the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) in a) Cardiac Ultrasound with RDCS, or RCS, or RCCS; or, b) General Ultrasound with RDMS; or c) Vascular Ultrasound with RVT, or RVS
    • e) If not board certified, must obtain registry within 6 months of employment
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare provider
  • National Board Certification or Board eligible

Preferred Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 2 years leadership experience within imaging services
  • EPIC working experience
