As an RN Supervisor of Clinic Operations at Scripps Clinic Carmel Valley, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage daily staffing for assigned clinic operations
  • Support approximately 20 providers while ensuring nursing practice reflects established standards of care and practice and a culture that promotes patient safety
  • Under the general direction of the Manager/Director, shares leadership responsibilities for approximately 30-40 nursing staff, including managing daily staffing plans
  • Work in partnership with Management and Physicians to ensure quality and efficiency in the management of patient care
  • Take a lead in the management and development of clinical staff
  • Participate in budget planning and management
  • Take proactive initiative in quality management
This is a Full Time-Salaried, Supervisor RN, position located at Scripps Clinic Carmel Valley Internal Medicine.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • Active California RN license
  • Requires excellent skills in communication, problem-solving, team development, planning and follow-through
  • Ability to exercise the authority and responsibility for assigned services based on the scope of the organization and complexity of patient care
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Outpatient or Ambulatory Clinic experience
  • Current or previous leadership experience
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BSN
  • Internal Medicine or Primary Care experience
  • Epic experience
