The Staffing Liaison is responsible for maintaining adequate and appropriate scheduling and staffing plans for the patient care areas. This position partners with site leadership on scheduling plans and coordinates staffing needs and availability for the site location. The Staffing Liaison collaborates with the Central Staffing Office and other hospitals of the Scripps system as needed to fill staffing needs and coordinates schedules for site-specific resources to enhance site unit coverage. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, be detail oriented and thrive in a fast- paced environment.
 
This position is Casual (Per Diem), Days, 8-Hour shifts, and located at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • One year of hospital or agency staffing, scheduling, or timekeeping experience.
  • Ability to coordinate and complete many tasks within a specified time frame.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to demonstrate positive behaviors.
  • Demonstrated excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent computer skills.
 
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Acute care experience with clinical staffing allocation.
  • Kronos advanced scheduling experience preferred.
