The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for maintaining adequate and cost-effective staffing for the patient care and ancillary departments of Scripps health. She/he will coordinate the allotment of nursing registry staff with the hospitals and departments of Scripps health as needed. She/he will collaborate with HR Central Staffing to maintain pertinent personnel profiles on outside agency personnel; prepare personnel and management reports as needed; maintain scheduling, staffing records, licensure and certification information on patient care giving personnel; and communicate needs and availability of float pool staff.
 
This position is Part-Time (48 hours per pay period) with a Varied shift that includes Weekends. Position is located in the Kearny Mesa area.
 

Job Requirements

Required Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • 1 year of staffing and scheduling experience or Unit Secretary experience within an acute care hospital setting.  
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • Acute care experience with clinical staffing allocation.
  • Kronos advanced scheduling experience preferred.
