Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas serves the communities of San Diego’s coastal North County.  We offer a full range of clinical and surgical services, including North County’s first Primary Stroke Center, a regionally recognized brain injury program, state-of-the-art imaging center, 24-hour emergency room care and award-winning OB-GYN, maternal health and infant health services.
 
Join our team as a Cardiac Sonographer in the Echocardiology Department at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas. The ideal candidate is flexible and eager to work with a variety of different teams and departments within the hospital to provide quality patient care.
 
As a Sonographer you will be responsible for providing age specific care, education and imaging procedures in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team. Adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements, participate in QC and PI activities, and maintain your own clinical competency and mandatory requirements.
 
This position is a Casual (per-diem) role assisting with shift coverage and on-call shifts, including weekends and evenings, and is located at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/ Certification/Registration:
  • Completion of formal training/educational program in a school that is accredited by CAAHEP (Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs).
  • ARDMS RDCS or CCI RCS
  • BLS from the American Heart Association
 
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • 1-2 years acute care experience
