Join a winning team supporting Scripps Health as a Sonographer at Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego located in Hillcrest. Partner with this small but mighty team on a large variety of cases to include in-patient, out-patient, and Emergency Room. The ideal candidate has breast imaging experience and is eager to help wherever needed in order for our team to continue to offer exemplary patient care.
The Sonographer is responsible for providing age specific care, education, and imaging procedures in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team. Work within safety standards and regulatory requirements. Participate in QC and PI activities. Perform sonographic tests and operates equipment proficiently with a high level of physician satisfaction.
This position is part-time (40 hours per pay period) and requires availability for day, evening, weekend, and call shifts and is located at Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
  • Completion of formal training/educational program in a school that is accredited by CAAHEP (Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs)
  • BLS from the American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least one year of experience in a hospital or clinic setting
  • RDMS Breast Registry strongly preferred
