We invite you to join our Perinatology department as a Sonographer Lead, responsible for providing age specific care, education and imaging procedures in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team. Adheres to safety standards and regulatory requirements; participates in QC and PI activities; maintains own clinical competency and mandatory requirements. Functions as liaison between state and federal agencies for licensure, certification, and QA requirements for the entire radiology department. Maintains all records as needed to verify that regulations are being maintained at all times. Responsible for charge reconciliation audits for procedures performed in their department.
 
This is an 8-hour, full time, day shift position (1.0 FTE – 80 hours per pay period).

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • Completion of formal training/educational program in a school that is accredited by CAAHEP (Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs).
  • Imaging experience in a hospital or clinic setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
 
Required Certification/Registration:
  • ARDMS or CCI
  • BLS
 
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
  • RDCS or RCS and RVT or RVS.
  • NT certification
  • 1-2 years of experience.
  • Recent Lead experience
  • Knowledge of patient focused care delivery.
