Join our team at the Breast Care Center at Scripps Green Hospital located in beautiful Torrey Pines as a Sonographer and help us offer personalized, compassionate, comprehensive breast care in one convenient location. Our team offers the full range of services to help our patients maintain breast health. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast paced environment and is dedicated to providing compassionate patient care. The position is primarily working in the Breast Care Center, but may also rotate to assist in the general hospital setting as needed.
The Sonographer is responsible for providing age specific care, education and imaging procedures in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team. Adheres to safety standards and regulatory requirements; participates in QC and PI activities; maintains own clinical competency and mandatory requirements.
This is a full-time position (64 hours per pay period) working mostly weekdays and is located at Scripps Green Hospital.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • Completion of formal training/educational program in a school that is accredited by CAAHEP (Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs)
  • Imaging experience in a hospital or clinic setting
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
Required Certification/Registration:
  • ARDMS or CCI
  • BLS
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • RDCS or RCS, and RVT or RVS
  • 1-2 years’ experience
  • Knowledge of patient focused care delivery
