Job Description

The clinical coach is a mentor and facilitator who guides and supervises nursing activities and learning experiences for the new graduate RN/ and or RN trainee as s/he progresses towards clinical and professional independence. The clinical coach serves as a teacher, facilitator, and professional example to the new graduate nurse. Responsible for the socialization of the New Graduate Nurse to the environment.

Job Requirements

Experience/Specialized Skills: A minimum of two years bedside nursing required. Previous experience in a preceptor role preferred. Consistently demonstrates advanced skills in each of the following domains. Patient/Family relationship. Compassion. Respect for diversity. Rights and dignity. trustworthiness. Required Certification/Registration: National Certification preferred

Required Education/Course(s)/Training: RN required. BSN strongly preferred..
