Join the Business Services Team supporting Scripps Health as a Revenue Cycle Provider Liaison. This is an exciting new role developed to bridge the gap between Scripps highly engaged Business Services Team and Providers throughout San Diego. Together, you’ll bring your expertise, compassion and excellence to all that we do.
As Revenue Cycle Provider Liaison, you will utilize and communicate meaningful data to key stakeholders to establish strong partnerships by addressing and anticipating needs from a charge capture and operational perspective, as well as lead and/or participate in projects related to revenue cycle from initial concept to final implementation. You will act as education resource to providers and operational leaders on how to best conduct analyses on charging activities, revenue reconciliation, and approach to addressing both clinical and charging workflows.
Additionally, the role will focus on providing root cause analyses, identifies potential operational gaps that may adversely impact charging activities, and coordinates efforts with appropriate stakeholders to determine resolution and provides educational outreach.
This is a Full Time, Exempt position located at 4S Ranch.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • 3 years of experience in healthcare/medical office environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience leading and facilitating work teams, with superior facilitation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills; innovative with ability to identify, anticipate and solve problems.
  • Able to adapt, prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to present to key stake holders including physicians.

Required Certification/Registration:
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • RN or LVN highly preferred.
