 Our highly engaged nurses on the Trauma Observation unit provide exceptional care to high acuity patients, working to ensure that their physical, mental, and psychological needs are taken care of.   Our nurses thrive in a culture that is team-oriented and where everyone takes pride in what they do.
We invite you to join our team of Registered Nurses responsible for  providing direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. With quality patient and family-centered care in mind, the RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision. Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
This is a 12 hour, full time, night shift position (0.9 FTE – 72 hours per pay period).

Job Requirements

Required Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • Minimum of 1 year recent RN experience in an acute care setting.
  • Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.
Required Certification/Registration:
  • Current CA RN License
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
Required Education/Course(s)/Training:
  • Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
