Registered Nurse (RN) – Surgical Acute (Scripps Green Hospital)

Scripps Green offers a wide range of clinical and surgical services, including organ transplantation, oncology care, cardiothoracic and orthopedic surgery, interventional cardiology and blood and bone marrow transplantation.
Join our Scripps Green Hospital Surgical Acute team of Registered Nurses (RN), responsible for monitoring the vital signs of post-operation patients as they wake up from surgery. They also notify the doctor of any problems or changes and maintain communication with patient and their families. As a Surgical Acute RN, you will be amongst a team that is dedicated to creating an environment that is focused on restoring function and optimizing care, while maintaining the respect, autonomy and individuality of every patient. You will have the support of your team to ensure optimal patient care and success in your role.
This is a Night shift, Full-Time (72 hours per week) position.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.
  • One (1) year of recent RN experience in an acute care setting within hospital environment.
  • Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English
  • Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.
Required Certification/Registration:
  • California Registered Nurse License
  • Current American Heart Association BLS provider certification
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
