Job Description

Located approximately eight miles from the Mexico border, Scripps Mercy Hospital, Chula Vista, serves San Diego County’s fast-growing South Bay communities, including Otay Mesa, National City, Imperial Beach and Bonita.
 
The Chula Vista campus offers 24-hour emergency care, a Level II neonatal intensive care unit, obstetrics and gynecology (OB-GYN), state-of-the-art imaging, cancer care, neurology, orthopedics, thoracic/vascular surgical capabilities, outpatient physical rehabilitation services and outpatient imaging.

Our nurses and surgical support staff focus on the unique skills required for assisting patients before, during, and after procedures. Join our Scripps team of Operating Room RNs responsible for providing direct patient care including assessment, planning and implementing care; and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. Primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by working collaboratively with our very engaged care team of Physicians and Techs to ensure optimal patient care.

Job Requirements

Preferred Qualifications
  • CNOR Certification 
  • Knowledge of patient focused care delivery
Required Qualifications:
  • 1 year as an RN experience in the Operating Room  
  • Current CA RN License
  • BLS from the American Heart Association
