Scripps Green is a 173-bed hospital that has served the La Jolla and greater San Diego communities with distinction since 1977. Conveniently located off I-5 near the Genesee Avenue exit, our healthcare professionals care for people from a number of communities including Bird Rock, La Jolla Shores, Mount Soledad, University City and beyond. Scripps Green offers a wide range of clinical and surgical services, including organ transplantation, oncology care, cardiothoracic and orthopedic surgery, interventional cardiology and blood and bone marrow transplantation.
 
Join Scripps Green Hospital Surgery Team that is focused on restoring function and optimizing care, while maintaining the respect, autonomy and individuality of every patient. You will provide care within the scope of the RN practice and work collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care. During surgeon block times you will float between Torrey Pines, Carmel Valley and Rancho Bernardo.
 
This is a full time 8 hour day shift (72 hours per pay period) position with benefits.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
 
  • Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.
  • One (1) year of recent surgery or operating room RN experience in an acute care setting
  • California Registered Nurse License
  • Current American Heart Association BLS provider certification
  • Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English
  • Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.
  • Float between 3 sites-Torrey Pines, Carmel Valley and Rancho Bernardo
 
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • 2 years experience
