Scripps Green offers a wide range of clinical and surgical services, including organ transplantation, oncology care, cardiothoracic and orthopedic surgery, interventional cardiology and blood and bone marrow transplantation.
 
Join our Surgery Department team as a Registered Nurse (RN) at Scripps Green Hospital La Jolla where you will conduct patient care assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care, and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. The RN will take primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under their supervision. Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
 
This position is full time (72 hours per pay period), 12-hour night shifts, and located at Scripps Green Hospital La Jolla.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certifications:
  • California Registered Nurse License
  • Ability to demonstrate positive behaviors
  • Ability to speak, read, and follow instructions in English
  • One (1) year of RN experience in the Operating Room
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association
 
Preferred Experience/Certification/Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • Trauma experience
