Registered Nurse – RN – MRI (Imaging) – La Jolla

The RN in this closely knit department will provide support for the imaging and radiology staff at the Imaging Pavilion and Ximed outpatient center. The ideal candidate will have excellent venipuncture skills for contrast imaging.  You will assist with MRI and CT and breast exams.  A telemetry background is necessary as you will monitor pacemakers. There is a potential for growth in the breast care center where you could work with biopsies and train for port access.

This is a full time (80 hours per pay period) 8 hour day shift position with benefits.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Venipuncture skills
  • One (1) year of recent RN experience in an acute care setting
  • Current American Heart Association BLS provider certification
  • Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English
  • Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • Telemetry experience
