RN - Clinics- System Wide Float Team

Join our Scripps System-wide Float Team as a Clinic RN where you will provide direct patient care within the scope of your practice. Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.  Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration. Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
You will be a perfect fit for this role if you are flexible and open to floating, are confident in your abilities and are comfortable with a short orientation and a 'jumping right in to help' mentality.  You will work varied shifts at the clinics throughout San Diego. This is a great opportunity to gain a wide variety of experience at Scripps.
This Full time varied 8 hour shift position (.80 hours per pay period) with occasional weekend shifts includes benefits. 

Job Requirements

  • Two (2) years of recent RN experience with a minimum of 1 year recent out patient clinic experience. 
  • Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.
  • Current California Registered Nurse License
  • Current American Heart Association BLS provider certification
  • Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
  • Experience supporting over two providers and experience rooming 15 or more patients per day
Travel Requirements: 
  • Floats on contracted assignments throughout all of Scripps Clinics
