Join a winning team in our Cath Lab Recovery unit where you are working with both moderate sedation and anesthesia patients in a busy but non-stressful environment.  As an RN you’ll bring your expertise, compassion and excellence to all we do by providing direct patient care including assessment, planning and implementing care; and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. Primary responsibility is to ensure safe high quality patient centered care collaborating with a highly engaged patient care team.
Please Note: This position is full time with varied 12-hour shifts.  Shift start times vary from 0430 to 1000 and applicants must be willing to work any shift needed for the department. 

Job Requirements

Required Experience/Education/Course(s)/Certification:
  • Current CA RN License
  • Three (3) years of cardiac PCU experience with knowledge of cardiac drips required
  • BLS and ACLS for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Must have experience with radial bands, groin management, and Femostops
  • Must have experience with care of the critical cardiac patient and care of the post cardiac surgical/procedure patient
  • Ability to speak, read, and follow instructions in English
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to demonstrate positive behaviors
Preferred Experience/Education/Training:
  • One (1) year cardiac ICU/PACU experience preferred
  • Knowledge of patient focused care delivery
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
