Join our Scripps team of Cath Lab RN's responsible for providing patient care assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care, and evaluating patients progress towards expected outcomes. The Cath Lab Recovery Registered Nurse will take primary responsibility for the patients care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision.  This position works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
 
This position is Casual (Per Diem), Varied 12-Hour shifts, and located at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla.

Job Requirements

Required Training/Education/Course(s)/Qualifications:
  • Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing
  • One (1) year of recent RN experience in Cath Lab Recovery, PACU or ICU
  • Current California Registered Nurse License
  • Current BLS and ACLS for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association
  • Ability to speak, read, and follow instructions in English
  • Ability to demonstrate positive behaviors
  • Excellent interpersonal skills 
 
Preferred Training/Education/Course(s)/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • Two (2) years PACU and pre-surgical evaluation experience
