Join our Scripps team of Cath Lab RN's responsible for providing patient care for the cardic and post cardiac patient including assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care, and evaluating patients progress towards expected outcomes. The Cath Lab Recovery Registered Nurse will take primary responsibility for the patients care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision.  This position works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
This position is a Full-time Varied 12-Hour shift position shift start times vary from o1430 to 0830 and willing to work any shift if needed.

Job Requirements

  • Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing
  • One (1) year of recent RN experience in Cath Lab Recovery, PACU or ICU or 3 years Cardiac PCU experience with knowledge of drips required.   Must have experience with radial bands, groin management and femostops.
  • Current California Registered Nurse License
  • Current BLS and ACLS for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association
  • Ability to speak, read, and follow instructions in English
  • Ability to demonstrate positive behaviors
  • Excellent interpersonal skills 
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
