Scripps Green is a 173-bed hospital that has served the La Jolla and greater San Diego communities with distinction since 1977.  Conveniently located off I-5 near the Genesee Avenue exit, our healthcare professionals care for people from a number of communities including Bird Rock, La Jolla Shores, Mount Soledad, University City and beyond. Join our Scripps Green Hospital Bone Marrow team of Registered Nurses (RN). Established in 1980, Scripps Blood and Marrow Transplant (BMT) Program was the first of its kind in San Diego and one of the first in the nation to administer life-saving stem cell transplantation. Today, the center is recognized for its expertise in making bone marrow and blood stem cell transplants possible for people across the country. We are the primary collection center for the National Marrow Donor Program in Southern California and the U.S. Department of Defense. Scripps BMT Program is also an active research facility dedicated to finding new therapies and treatments.
The Bone Marrow RN provides direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice. They also notify the doctor of any problems or changes and maintain communication with patient and their families. As a Bone Marrow Transplant/Oncology RN you will be among a team that is dedicated to creating an environment that is focused on restoring function and optimizing care, while maintaining the respect, autonomy and individuality of every patient. You will have the support of your team to ensure optimal patient care and success in your role.

This is a fill-time 12 hour NIGHT SHIFT position

Job Requirements


One (1) year of recent RN experience in an acute care setting within a hospital environment
  • California Registered Nurse License
  • Current American Heart Association BLS provider certification
  • Must be able to speak, read, and follow instructions in English
  • Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • Oncology and/or Bone Marrow Transplant Experience
  • Chemo Certification – ONS Certification
