Scripps Green is a 173-bed hospital that has served the La Jolla and greater San Diego communities with distinction since 1977.  Established in 1980, Scripps Blood and Marrow Transplant (BMT) Program was the first of its kind in San Diego and one of the first in the nation to administer life-saving stem cell transplantation. Today, the center is recognized for its expertise in making bone marrow and blood stem cell transplants possible for people across the country. We are the primary collection center for the National Marrow Donor Program in Southern California and the U.S. Department of Defense. Scripps BMT Program is also an active research facility dedicated to finding new therapies and treatments.

Join our Bone Marrow Transplant/Oncology team as an RN providing direct patient care within the scope of practice.  As a Bone Marrow Transplant/Oncology RN, you will be amongst a team that is dedicated to creating an environment that is focused on restoring function and optimizing care, while maintaining the respect, autonomy and individuality of every patient. You will have the support of your team to ensure optimal patient care and success in your role.
 
This is a 12 hour, day shift, full-time position

Job Requirements

Required
 
•         One (1) year of recent RN experience in an acute care setting
•         California Registered Nurse License
•         Current American Heart Association BLS certification
 
Preferred
 

•         Bachelor's degree in nursing
•         2 or more years of Oncology and/or Bone Marrow Transplant Experience
•         Chemo Certification – ONS Certification
