This is an opportunity to join a Talent Acquisition team responsible for attracting, selecting and onboarding over 5000 hires a year.  Join a team which boasts a positive, collaborate, engaged and supportive working environment.
As Recruitment Coordinator you will serve as the initial contact and impression for walk-in and phone job seekers to facilitate the recruitment process. Be responsible for ensuring quality of hire and positive new hire experience. You will partner with talent acquisition team and local HR staff to facilitate recruitment processes and workflow. Have the opportunity to screen candidate's application for qualifications and forward to the Talent Advisor for phone screens and interviews using automated applicant tracking system. Additionally, you will serve as the applicant tracking system advisor for job seekers. Play an integral role in utilizing the applicant tracking system to record and track candidate status and information.
Your duties will include:
  • Verifying candidate source information and documents on system.
  • Providing quality customer service to employees, managers and job seekers..
  • Assisting with special recruitment projects, recruitment events and continuous improvement projects.
This is a Full Time, 8 hour shift position with flexible start and end times. 
This position is located in La Jolla.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • Qualified candidates must demonstrate excellent customer service skills, ability to meet established deadlines and manage multiple and changing priorities while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Minimum one year administrative support experience in a complex environment, preferably related to HR and/or recruitment, emphasizing the coordination of employment and recruitment activities.
  • Minimum one year experience utilizing windows based computerized software programs. Requires demonstrated proficiency in use of computers and various software applications.
  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency in creating reports using Excel, Word, Access and Powerpoint preferred.
  • Must be able to demonstrate position-required behaviors in fulfillment of the organization's mission.
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
