Join the Scripps Health Systemwide Resource Team as a Radiology Care Team Assistant and work at a variety of locations throughout our system. You will work closely with our Imaging Staff to deliver a clean, safe, and attractive environment for our patients. Gain exposure to a variety of different imaging modalities and experience the support of our tight-knit teams across the system. With something as simple as a warm greeting or conversation, our Radiology Care Team Assistants are sure to make a positive impact on the patient experience every day.
 
The Radiology Care Team Assistant works in collaboration with other care team members to assure safe and optimal patient care. You will support the unit with a variety of clerical, patient logistic, equipment/supply, charge reconciliation, and patient service duties. The Care Team Assistant will also assist with patient care within the scope permitted and under the direction of a clinician, and assist patients with personal needs and activities of daily living, collect data, and maintain a safe, organized environment.
 
SYSTEM WIDE FLOAT TEAM - Permanent Scripps employees who support the day-to-day of our different locations through either short-term or long-term assignments.
 
SYSTEM WIDE RESOURCE TEAM - Permanent Scripps employees who support long-term assignments, typically 12 weeks in duration.
 
Seeking full-time and part-time staff for varied shifts.
 
Must be willing to float to the following 5 hospitals: Encinitas, La Jolla, Green, San Diego and Chula Vista.  Please confirm your agreement with this requirement prior to submission of your application.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • Must be able to speak, read, and follow instructions in English
  • Minimum one year of experience as either physician office or hospital patient transportation
  • BLS for Health Care Provider
  • High school graduate or equivalent
 
Travel Requirements: Work between all Scripps Health outpatient clinics and five (5) hospital campuses: Encinitas, La Jolla, Torrey Pines, San Diego, and Chula Vista
 
Preferred Experience:
  • At least one year of Radiology experience in a hospital or clinic setting
