Join our Radiology department as a Radiology Care Team Assistant at Scripps mercy Hospital San Diego in Hillcrest and work closely with our Imaging Staff to deliver a clean, safe and attractive environment for our patients. From a warm greeting and conversation, to their continuous focus on patient care, our Radiology Care Team Assistant professionals make a positive impact on the patient experience every day.

The Radiology Care Team Assistant works in collaboration with other care team members to assure safe and optimal patient care. Supports the unit with a variety of clerical, patient logistic, equipment/supply, charge reconciliation, and patient service duties. Assists with patient care within the scope permitted and under the direction of a clinician. Assists patients with personal needs and activities of daily living, collects data, and maintains a safe, organized environment.

This position is part-time (40 hours per pay period) working occasional weekends as needed, and is located at Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego located in Hillcrest.

Job Requirements

  • Must be able to speak, read and follow instruction in English
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care provider
  • Must be able to work close to an MRI machine

Preferred Experience:
  • Prefer at least one year of experience in health care related field, sterile processing, patient transport or equivalent responsibilities
