We invite you to join our Radiation Oncology Department in Vista. Under the supervision of the Radiation Oncologist, the Radiation Therapist delivers the planned course of radiation therapy, documents all treatments, set up instructions, measurements and photos. Responsible for treatment planning set-ups for simulations and treatment delivery. Ability to perform competencies as outlined in Radiation Oncology Competency Assessment tools. Demonstrates age-specific care.
 
This is a full-time, day shift position (1.0 FTE, 80 hours per pay period).  Will work 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Must be flexible to work at multiple sites as needed (to include Encinitas and La Jolla).

Job Requirements

Required Experience/Specialized Skills: Completion of a formal training program of Radiation Therapy. Imaging experience in a hospital or clinic setting. Excellent interpersonal skills.
 
Required Certification/Registration: CRT in Radiation Therapy, ARRT in Radiation Therapy, & BLS.
 
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills: 1-2 years experience. Knowledge of patient focused care delivery.
