Join our Radiology Department as a Rad Tech at the Scripps Coastal Medical Center in Vista.  Scripps Imaging is recognized for having the latest diagnostic imaging technology available to deliver the highest quality patient care. As a Rad Tech, you will provide age specific care, education, and imaging procedures in conjunction with our engaged nurses and physicians. You’ll adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements; participate in Quality Control and Performance Improvement activities; and maintain clinical competency and mandatory requirements.
 
This position is Part Time (24 Hours per pay period), requires 10-Hour shifts, primarily on Saturdays and Sundays, with occasional weekday shifts as needed, and is located at Scripps Coastal Medical Center Vista.

Job Requirements

Required Experience/Education/Specialized Skills/Qualifications:
  • California Certified Rad Tech
  • Fluoroscopy eligible (Must obtain Fluoro within 6 months from hire)
  • BLS for the Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association (AMA)
  • Completion of a formal training/education program in an AMA/JCERT approved school of Radiology Technology
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
 
Preferred Qualifications/Specialized Skills/Education:
  • 1-2  year’s experience as a Radiology Technologist
  • Knowledge of patient focused care delivery
  • ARRT
