Join our Radiology Department at Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista where we use the latest diagnostic imaging technology.  Scripps Imaging is recognized for having advanced equipment and tools available to deliver quality patient care. We have leading-edge practice environments and seek equipment that offers better ergonomics, reduced exposure rates, and timesaving tools to help our imaging professionals do what they do best to offer exceptional care.
 
The Radiology Technologist will be responsible for providing age specific care, education and imaging procedures in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team. Adheres to safety standards and regulatory requirements; participates in QC and PI activities; maintains own clinical competency and mandatory requirements.
 
This position is a Casual (Per-diem) role, with varied hours including occasional weekends, and is located at Scripps Memorial Hospital Chula Vista.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Course(s)/Training:
  • Completion of a formal training/educational program in an AMA/JCERT approved school of Radiology Technology
  • Imaging experience in a hospital or clinic setting
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
     
Required Certification/Registration:
  • CRT
  • Fluoroscopy Eligible (Must obtain within 6 months of hire date)
  • BLS
 
Preferred Experience/Specialized Skills: 
  • 1-2 years experience
  • Knowledge of patient focused care delivery.
