The Rad Tech is responsible for providing age specific care, education and imaging procedures in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team. Adheres to safety standards and regulatory requirements; participates in QC and PI activities; maintains own clinical competency and mandatory requirements.
 
SYSTEM WIDE FLOAT TEAM - Permanent Scripps employees who support the day-to-day of our different locations through either short-term or long-term assignments (Long-term assignments are typically 12 weeks in duration).
 
Seeking part-time and full-time staff with options for day, evening or varied shifts.
 
Must be willing to float to the following 5 hospitals: Encinitas, La Jolla, Green, San Diego and Chula Vista.  Please confirm your agreement with this requirement prior to submission of your application.

Job Requirements

Experience/Specialized Skills: Completion of a formal training/educational program in an AMA/JCERT approved school of Radiology Technology. One (1) year imaging experience in an acute care hospital environment. Experience in OR/C-Arm operation. Excellent communication skills.

Required Certification/Registration: CRT, Fluoroscopy, BLS from American Heart Association.

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills: ARRT (R) preferred. Two (2) years imaging experience in an acute care hospital environment. Knowledge of patient focused care delivery.
 
Travel Requirements:  Work between all Scripps Health outpatient clinics and five (5) hospital campuses: Encinitas, La Jolla, Torrey Pines, San Diego, and Chula Vista.
