We invite you to join our Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Electrophysiology Lab teams as a Rad Tech at Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego, located in Hillcrest. The ideal candidate for this position is always looking for new challenges and wanting to expand their skillset, which in this position will include scrubbing and monitoring complex Cath Lab cases. This facility is expanding quickly and looking to fine an individual who will contribute positively to the team environment as they strive to provide excellent patient care every day.
 
The Rad Tech is responsible for providing age specific care, education and imaging procedures in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team. Adheres to safety standards and regulatory requirements; participates in QC and PI activities; maintains own clinical competency and mandatory requirements.
 
This position is a full-time (80 hours per pay period) role and requires being on-call for emergency off-hour cases at least 5 shifts per pay period.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills: Completion of a formal training/educational program in an AMA/JCERT approved school of Radiology Technology. Imaging experience in a hospital or clinic setting. Excellent interpersonal skills.

Required Certification/Registration: CRT, Fluoroscopy, & BLS.

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills: ARRT, 1-2 years’ experience. Knowledge of patient focused care delivery.
