In this role you will support operations of Scripps Health Plan HMO product that includes managing projects and performing operational tasks. As Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing Scripps Health Plan web site, collaboration with several departments across the organization to maintain and create member and provider facing documents, operational liaison with vendors, creating workflows and staff training documents.



You will be responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects, taking projects from initial concept through final implementation. This includes defining project scope and objectives, developing work plans, acquiring resources, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and coordinating the efforts of team members in order to deliver projects according to deadlines and within budget.




This is the ideal role for someone with previous experience in California health plan operations and it will give you the opportunity to put your excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, ability to work independently and with teams, ability to think critically, problem-solve and identify problems along with possible solutions to use.



This is a Full Time – 80 hours in a pay period position located in Rancho Bernardo.



Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience/certification.
  • Three years of progressively responsible experience in management engineering, project management, consulting, and or analysis.
  • Experience leading and facilitating work teams, with superior facilitation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct and interpret quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Proficiency with: MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and MS Project.




Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:


  • Masters degree.
  • Experience within a multi-facility health care system.
  • Experience working with California Health Plan operations.
  • Epic working experience preferred.
