Job Description

The Project Manager of Pharmacy is accountable for advising project leads and completing project life cycle for quality and performance improvement projects. Independently provide management engineering tools including target setting, benchmarking and process improvement.
Partners with key organizational and operational leaders to identify and achieve priorities, goals and objectives for each initiative consistent with the Scripps Health mission and goals. Acts as a liaison between multiple disciplines such as I.S teams and clinical leaders.
The Project Manager of Pharmacy will also develop business cases, define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path. Monitors impact of implemented change and identifies opportunities for improvement.
A successful candidate will have Comprehensive understanding of project management, process redesign, and/or performance improvement related methodology and tools, and demonstrated ability to conduct and interpret quantitative and qualitative analysis.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills: Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of experience in management engineering, project management, consulting, and/or analysis. Experience leading and facilitating work teams, with superior facilitation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to conduct and interpret quantitative and qualitative analysis. Proficiency with: MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and MS Project.

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification: Master's degree, experience within a multi-facility health care system. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Lean Six Sigma Certified.
