As Project Manager you will be accountable for advising project leads and completing project life cycle for quality and performance improvement projects. You will provide management engineering tools including target setting, benchmarking and process improvement. You will partners with key organizational and operational leaders to identify and achieve priorities, goals and objectives for each initiative consistent with the Scripps Health mission and goals. You will develop business case, define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path. You will monitor the impact of implemented change and identify opportunities for improvement.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2 years of progressively responsible experience in management engineering, project management, consulting, and/or analysis
  • Experience leading and facilitating work teams, with superior facilitation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct and interpret quantitative and qualitative analysis. Proficiency with: MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and MS Project
  • Comprehensive understanding of project management, process redesign, and/or performance improvement related methodology and tools, and demonstrated ability to conduct and interpret quantitative and qualitative analysis

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
  • Master's degree
  • Experience within a multi-facility health care system
  • LEAN Engineering experience
  • Epic working experience
