As Professional Development Specialist, you will act as a training internal consultant to system leaders and subject matter exports to identify enablers and barriers to optimal performance, and implement learning that reduces the performance gap.  You will be responsible for the analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of both classroom and online curriculum to include slide decks, facilitator guides, participant materials, job aides, and other tools to support the effective transfer of learning.  You will use dynamic and effective training facilitation skills to help drive performance enhancement in a diverse adult learner population.  You will ensure that planned educational activities are implemented in an efficient and effective manner.  You will work in a highly matrixed department and organization where good communication skills and the ability to be flexible and adapt to the ever changing priorities of our health care system are essential.


Job Requirements

Required Education/Course(s)/Training:
  • Masters required.
  • Five years instructional design and training facilitation experience highly preferred.
  • LMS system experience a plus.
