As Physician Resources Coordinator you will be responsible for providing support and assisting with all activities related to Physician Resources, physician and physician extender planning, recruiting, credentialing, orientation, special projects and professional standards review.  This is the ideal position for someone who enjoys physician interaction and overall responsibility for the smooth operations of this function. Success in this role will require attention to detail, great customer service, and creative problem solving. Join a high functioning team providing great customer service while helping to develop process improvements to increase efficiency.
 
This is a full time position.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • Two years' experience in areas of physician recruitment/staffing, credentialing, human resource/benefits, medical staff office, medical group administrative office.
  • Strong organizational focus. Knowledge of clinic operations and payroll activities.
  • Requires flexibility in dealing with multiple assignments and work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to interact professionally and effectively with and gain confidence of physicians and other practitioners.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Strong writing skills needed to help develop letters, reports, etc.
  • Ability to work both independently as well as part of a team.
  • Solid intermediate or higher computer skill level including the creation of spreadsheets, database information input and maintenance.
  • Established proficiency with multiple software programs which may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).


Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred (appropriate experience can be substituted for education).
