This outpatient clinic is located in sunny San Diego, CA and minutes from our beautiful beaches and central to the vibrant Hillcrest community.  You will experience the pride, and support of being a member of an outstanding team where we share a culture of providing excellent care to our patients and each other. 
The physical therapist provides patient evaluation, assessment, treatment, and education according to therapist licensure, federal/state regulations, accreditation standards, and business unit policies and procedures. The therapist works cooperatively with members of the interdisciplinary team and actively participates in the coordination of services. The therapist has case by case responsibility to supervise home health aides and physical therapy assistants. The therapist participates in case conferences, team meetings, and other agency/systemwide meetings as requested. Performs other assigned duties. When the therapist does not function as case manager but is part of the multidisciplinary team, they will meet the job duty standards as team member therapist.

Please note this position has a Monday through Friday work schedule with occasional Saturday coverage and the hours are listed as day shift hours.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:
Graduate of accredited school of physical therapy (BS, MS, or DPT degree)
Minimum of two years recent experience required, Home Health experience desirable.
Fluent knowledge of spoken and written English required.
Ability to perform all baseline clinical therapy interventions and coordinate all aspects of patient care.
Effective interpersonal, communication, organizational & time management skills.

Current physical therapist license in State of California.
Current annual BLS certificate,

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Medicare, Medi-Cal, and other third party payer's.
