The Physical Therapist position provides Physical Therapy evaluation, assessment, prognosis, treatment and education as prescribed by qualified medical practitioner in accordance with the Physical Therapy Practice Act and Title 16 requirements.
 
This position is Casual (Per Diem), Day shifts, and located at Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista.

Job Requirements

Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately evaluate, assess, and treat physical therapy patients.
  • Experience as a physical therapist in an outpatient orthopaedic setting preferred.
  • Physical therapy manual therapy skills beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills both in verbal and written form.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
 
Required Certification/Registration:
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a PT in the State of California.
  • Current BLS Certificate from the American Heart Association
 
Required Education/Course(s)/Training:
  • A/BBS or graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
