Our rehab team at Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista is eager to welcome a Physical Therapist to their tight-knit department. This team focuses primarily on orthopedic and neurological out-patient cases, but partners closely with other rehab disciplines to provide a collaborative approach to patient care. The ideal candidate is passionate about learning and excited to make a difference in this southern San Diego community.

The Physical Therapist provides Physical Therapy evaluation, assessment, prognosis, treatment and education as prescribed by qualified medical practitioner in accordance with the Physical Therapy Practice Act and Title 16 requirements.

This position is full-time (80 hours per period) and includes at least two in-patient weekend shifts per month and is located at Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista.


Job Requirements

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a PT in the State of California
  • Current BLS Certificate
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience as a physical therapist in an outpatient orthopedic setting
  • Physical therapy manual therapy skills
