The Physical Therapist will provide Physical Therapy evaluation, assessment, prognosis, treatment, and education as prescribed by qualified medical practitioners in accordance with the Physical Therapy Practice Act and Title 16 requirements.
This position is Full Time (72 hours per pay period) and located at Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego for a 6 month tenure. This position does require one weekend day per week on inpatient units.

Job Requirements

Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately evaluate, assess, and treat physical therapy patients
  • Experience as a physical therapist in an outpatient orthopedic setting preferred
  • Physical therapy manual therapy skills beneficial
  • Strong communication skills both in verbal and written form
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Experience working with a variety of orthopedic and neurological patients preferred
  • New Grads welcome to apply
Required Education/Course(s)/Training:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of Physical Therapy
Required Certification/Registration:
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a PT in the State of California
  • Current BLS Certificate for Healthcare Professional from American Heart Association (AHA)
