Our clinics are located throughout San Diego to offer a variety of services, such as blood tests and sample collection. Our Phlebotomists are key in providing an excellent experience to our patients. This Phlebotomist will be joining the team floating between our Carmel Valley and Rancho Bernardo clinic locations.

To be successful, the Phlebotomist will be reliable, motivated and resourceful, as well as have experience in drawing patients of all ages. The Phlebotomist performs age specific venipuncture and capillary puncture, and processes specimens for transport. The Phlebotomist answers phones, provides clerical support for the laboratory, ensures performance and safety standards are met and inventory and supplies are stocked appropriately. The Phlebotomist serves as a liaison for the laboratory and interacts with physicians, nurses and customers to provide a positive outcome.

This is a casual/per diem position with varied shifts, including rotating weekends. Flexibility to work extended hours and ability to float to other sites is required.

Job Requirements

  • Good critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with medical terminology, with an understanding of computer systems
  • Certified Phlebotomy Technician
  • American Heart Association BLS

  • Experience with pediatric and geriatric patients
