Job Description

This is an exempt, one-year post graduate PGY1 residency training program in which the Pharmacy Resident participates in inpatient, ambulatory care and administrative pharmacy practice environments as outlined in the Residency manual. The Pharmacy Resident must be licensed or be eligible for licensure in California, be a US or naturalized citizen and have received a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy. The resident will be precepted by Pharmacy Residency Preceptors and Physician preceptors as appropriate for the rotation. The Pharmacy Resident will be responsible for meeting all requirements of the Pharmacy Residency within the training year as defined by the Residency Manual. The Pharmacy Resident will participate in post-graduate residency program sufficient to assure proficiency in all areas related to drug therapy and to function as a consultant to other health care professionals.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills: Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from an accredited school of pharmacy, required.

Required Certification/Registration:Current California Intern license required Pharmacist licensure expected within 3 months of hire.
