As Director Pharmacy services, you will be responsible for the provision of the overall administration, operation, direction, design, financial performance, human resource management, regulatory compliance, quality, utilization management, marketing, integration and evaluation of Pharmacy at your site.
You will have oversight of the inpatient hospital pharmacy as well as pharmacy ambulatory services performed on the hospital campus.  You will play an integral role working on both site and system initiatives to advance the mission of the organization. 
The pharmacy department is supported by highly qualified pharmacists and technicians.  The technician program provides skilled technicians working at top of licensure in operational and patient facing roles.  The Pharmacy has a robust clinical program, requiring board certification for clinical pharmacists and utilizing pharmacist specialists and advance practice pharmacists in various specialty areas including Infectious Disease, Critical Care, Oncology, Transplant and OR pharmacy services.  The inpatient pharmacy operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week with OR pharmacy satellite services 5 days per week. 
This is a full time Director level position at Scripps Green Hospital.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • Graduate degree plus 8 years experience, 3 of which in a leadership role
Required Certification/Registration:
  • Current California Registered Pharmacist
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
  • PharmD
  • Epic experience highly preferred
