Job Description

We provide the entire spectrum of inpatient and outpatient physical rehabilitation services, ranging from general rehabilitation care — including physical therapy and speech therapy — to distinctive specialty programs such as our acute inpatient rehabilitation center for stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries; our brain injury day treatment program; a state-of-the-art voice therapy and swallowing therapy center; and a certified sports therapy program used by elite athletes.

As part of our Occupational Therapy Team, you will provide evaluation, assessment, prognosis, treatment and education to patients and clients through a continuum of care according to the therapist's respective licensure/registration/certification, Code of Ethics, Federal/State regulations, JCAHO/UMQC and Care Center policies and procedures. Performs competencies as outlined in Rehabilitation Services Competency Assessment tools. Demonstrates age specific care as established for area and job title.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications: 
  • Current California Occupational Therapy license
  • BLS American Heart Association
  • Must have variety of problem solving skills
  • Excellent communications skills with internal and external customers
  • Graduate of accredited school of Occupational Therapy (BS or MS degree)
  • Working a minimum of 2 weekend days is a requirement
Preferred Experience:
  • Working in a Fast Paced Acute Care Hospital
  • 1 year experience as a Licensed OT highly preferred
