We invite you to join our team as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista. Our tight-knit team is looking for someone flexible and eager to pitch in when needed in order to benefit our team as we work towards a common goal. The ideal candidate is confident in their skills and abilities, enjoys working independently, and is passionate about providing superior care to our patients in the southern San Diego communities.
 
The Nuclear Medicine Tech is responsible for providing age specific care, education and imaging procedures in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team. They will adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements, participate in QC and PI activities, and maintain clinical competency and mandatory requirements.
 
This position is part-time (40 hours per pay period) working primarily weekdays with occasional call based on the needs of the department, and is located at Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • Completion of a formal training educational program in an AMA JCERT approved school of Radiology Technology
  • CNMT
  • Venipuncture
  • BLS from the American Heart Association
     
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least one year of experience in an acute care hospital or clinic setting
