Join a winning team supporting Scripps Health as a Nuclear Medicine Tech within our Nuclear Medicine department at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas. From performing bone scans to gallbladder studies, you will experience a wide variety of both inpatient and outpatient cases. The ideal candidate enjoys working collaboratively with their team, is focused on radiation safety, and is dedicated to providing excellent patient care.
 
The Nuclear Med Tech is responsible for providing age specific care, education and imaging procedures in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team. Adheres to safety standards and regulatory requirements; participates in QC and PI activities maintains own clinical competency and mandatory requirements.
 
This position is a part-time role (40 hours per pay period) and is located at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills: Completion of a formal training educational program in an AMA JCERT approved school of Radiology Technology. Imaging experience in a hospital or clinic setting. Excellent interpersonal skills.

Required Certification/Registration: Must have California State Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology, and BLS.
 
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills: 1-2 years experience. Knowledge of patient focused care delivery.
