Join our team supporting the Electroencephalography (EEG) Department as Neurodiagnostic Technician at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas. The Neurodiagnostic Tech performs procedures which may include EEG, LTM, EMU, EMG, NCV, and EP utilizing standard protocols supported by the American Society of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists. They may assist with long term monitoring under guidance and/or supervision of a Long Term Monitoring Tech and/or Lead Monitoring tech. They are responsible for patient preparation, equipment transportation, entering patient charges, and maintaining supply inventory.
This position is a Casual (Per-diem) position, to include weekends, and is located at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • AA through Neurodiagnostic program or proof of CEUs
  • 6 months of experience (can be internship)
Required Certification/Registration:
  • BLS
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
  • Registration via ABRET for EEG
  • 2 years of experience
