Join our Radiology Department as a MRI Tech at the Scripps Coastal Medical Center in Vista.  Scripps Imaging is recognized for having the latest diagnostic imaging technology available to deliver the highest quality patient care. The Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technician is responsible for providing age specific care, education, and imaging procedures in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team. Adheres to safety standards and regulatory requirements; participates in QC and PI activities; maintains own clinical competency and mandatory requirements.

This position is Part Time (40 Hours per pay period), requires 10-Hour shifts, primarily on Saturdays and Sundays, with occasional weekday shifts as needed, and is located at Scripps Coastal Medical Center Vista.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • Completion of a formal training/educational program in an AMA/JCERT approved school of Radiology Technology
  • Imaging experience in a hospital or clinic setting
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
Required Certification/Registration:
  • CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist) certificate
  • RT-Venipuncture
  • BLS for Healthcare Professional from American Heart Association (AHA)
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
  • 2 or more years' experience
  • Knowledge of patient focused care delivery
  • ARRT certification
