The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) will work in hematology, coagulation, urinalysis and chemistry. This position is ideal for someone looking to grow into a Clinical Lab Scientist position.

The team thrives in a fast-paced environment and prides itself in its efficiency and teamwork. To be successful, the MLT will be proactive, resourceful and reliable, as well as have hospital experience. The MLT ensures that all quality control is performed and documented according to policy and procedure and is responsible for clerical tasks, specimen collection, processing and testing using both manual techniques and automated instrumentation.

This is a full time position with day shifts, 6:30am - 3pm with rotating weekends.

Job Requirements

  • Understanding of medical terminology, specimen collection, processing and testing techniques.
  • Current California Medical Laboratory Technician license.

  • Associate Science from an accredited university 
  • Experience in a clinical laboratory
