As Manager, Performance Improvement, you will design and manage the processes for implementation of hospital and medical staff performance improvement programs. Be responsible for the design and maintenance of decision support data systems that support departmental and organization-wide performance improvement initiatives. You will oversee the management of multiple databases and the process for monitoring performance measures.

Play an integral role in overseeing the design, implementation and evaluation of clinical guidelines and the peer review process in collaboration with the Medical Staff. Additionally, you will provide oversight for the facility-wide policy and procedures process. Supervise daily operations/employee relations related to performance improvement and risk management functions.

This is a Full Time Manager position located at Scripps Green Hospital.

Job Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:

  • Bachelors degree.
  • Five years acute care hospital experience including 2 years of supervisory management experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage complex projects with working knowledge of project management methodology.
  • Highly developed analytic capability and application of complex problem solving techniques.
  • Experience with implementation of data management processes and systems in clinical.
  • Fluency in performance improvement tools, methodology, applied statistical concepts, and information management.
  • Joint Commission, Title 22, and other state and federal standard.

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
  • Master's preferred.
  • Current licensure as California Registered Nurse preferred.
  • BSN strongly preferred.
  • LEAN management experience highly preferred.
  • Epic working experience.
